This week, the S&P/TSX Composite index (INDEXTSI:OSPTX) remained relatively flat for most of the week, sitting in the red on Thursday as the energy sector saw the biggest losses in the TSX. The index saw some recovery on Friday morning, despite lower than expected April job data coming out of the US. The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index (INDEXTSI:JX), meanwhile, trended slowly downwards, leveling out after notable drops in the second half of April.
