Akers Biosciences Signs 3-year Agreement with GNYHA Services for Heparin PF4 Rapid Test

Akers Biosciences reported on December 19, 2016 that the Company has signed a three-year agreement with the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) to introduce the Company’s flagship rapid tests for heparin-induced thrombocytopenia across GNYHA’s network of over 300 member hospitals and health systems.

Akers Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKER) (AIM: AKR.L), (the “Company” or “Akers Bio”), a developer of rapid health information technologies, reported on December 19, 2016 that the Company has signed a three-year agreement with the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) to introduce the Company’s flagship rapid tests for heparin-induced thrombocytopenia across GNYHA’s network of over 300 member hospitals and health systems. In fact, the entity with which the Company has entered into an agreement is GNHYA Services, a group purchasing organization affiliated with GNYHA.
