Syrah Resources has provided an update on the repair of the primary classifier unit at the company’s Balama graphite operation.

Syrah Resources (ASX:SYR) has provided an update on the repair of the primary classifier unit at the company’s Balama graphite operation.

On October 1, a fire occurred in the primary classifier of Balama’s processing plant, which distributes and classifies all milled material from the scrubber before flotation.

Highlights from the press release are as follows:

Replacement primary classifier unit has arrived on site and been placed into position.
Remaining installation works, commissioning and return to full production remains on track.
