FPX Nickel (TSX VENTURE: FPX) (“FPX Nickel” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that permit approval has been granted by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines for drilling on the Company’s flagship Decar nickel project, located in central British Columbia.

Further to receipt of the permit, the Company will undertake a minimum 2,000-metre step-out drilling program to test the southeast extension of the Baptiste deposit at Decar. The drilling program is expected to commence on or around August 25, 2017.

Martin Turenne, President and CEO, said:

“We look forward to re-commencing field activities at the Decar project, which has not seen drilling since 2012.

The focus of this year’s campaign will be to test the potential to add higher-grade resources immediately to the southeast of the existing Baptiste deposit, where adjacent holes drilled during the final phase of the 2012 campaign returned the highest-grading drill intercepts on the property.”
