Northern Minerals Managing Director, George Bauk is pleased to provide a progress update on the Browns Range Pilot Plant Project, under construction in the East Kimberley region of WA, including the following achievements:
- Mining is complete and a total of 205,0001 tonnes was mined against an original plan of 180,000 tonnes.
- First shipment of process pilot plant modules and equipment from Sinosteel MECC has been delivered to site.
- Second shipment has been unloaded at the Port of Darwin. The first two shipments constitute over 65% of the pilot plant delivered.
- Third shipment is being consolidated in Shanghai and is due to leave around 8 December. These three shipments combine for over 95% of the pilot plant delivered.
