iPass Inc. (NASDAQ:IPAS), a provider of global mobile connectivity, has announced a partnership with Melita, Malta’s leading provider of next generation broadband, fixed and wireless connectivity services.
iPass Inc. (NASDAQ:IPAS), a provider of global mobile connectivity, has announced a partnership with Melita, Malta’s leading provider of next generation broadband, fixed and wireless connectivity services.
According to the press release:
Under the terms of the deal, Melita will give melitaWiFi Travel customers free use of the iPass network when traveling outside Malta. With 50 million hotspots in more than 120 countries, iPass is the world’s largest Wi-Fi network.
melitaWIFI Travel aims to make it as easy as possible for customers to access Wi-Fi while they are travelling. The service enables customers to stay connected on their laptop, smartphone and tablet devices, without incurring the expensive roaming fees charged by other operators. Melita is the only operator on the island to offer free and unlimited Wi-Fi to mobile customers when abroad.
