AppFolio Launches New Mobile App, Enabling Advanced Mobile Functionality for Property Management Customers

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AppFolio, Inc. (NASDAQ:APPF), a leading provider of cloud-based business software solutions in the property management and legal markets, today announced the availability of the new AppFolio Property Manager mobile app.  AppFolio Property Manager now offers its entire suite of features ranging from accounting to marketing within the mobile app, available for download now on iOS and Android devices.

The new AppFolio Property Manager mobile app offers enhanced functionality for mobile devices and is designed for the modern manager, enabling full access to the same features available through AppFolio’s cloud-based property management software.  With this new app, property management professionals benefit from secure access to their entire database from anywhere, enabling their teams to quickly fill vacancies, communicate easily with vendors, owners and tenants, track maintenance work, run reports and more; and their customers benefit from features such as convenient mobile payment options, a streamlined move-in and move-out process, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests.

This enhanced functionality came about in response to the ever-increasing need for property management professionals to be mobile.  In the first quarter of 2016, AppFolio has seen logins via a mobile device increase 140 percent over the prior quarter, and AppFolio believes this is only the beginning of a major shift in the digitization of property management.
