Forbes Article on Virtual Reality Mentions YDreams

YDreams Global Interactive Technologies Inc (TSXV:YD) and their technology platforms were featured in a Forbes article on the potential impacts of virtual reality (VR) in the movie and retail entertainment spaces. The article discusses the development of location-based virtual reality (LBVR) products aimed at delivering entertainment value that include VRcades, standalone VR Coasters, VR theatres with swivel pods and free roam VR.
In the article, YDreams CEO Daniel Japiassu was referenced as he described Arkave, the company’s LBVR center that allows up to three players within the same simulation. The first Arkave location will be deployed in Sao Paulo’s largest mall next month.
“Our goal is to be the fastest growing VR gaming arena in the world by creating a highly immersive, multiplayer experience, scalable through a franchising model and flexible enough for the high-end third-party content from big game and movie studios,” Japiassu is quoted as saying.
