IGEN Networks (OTCQB:IGEN; CSE:IGN) has announced the transition of its IT infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As quoted in the press release:

“We are pleased to complete this transition to AWS, which gives us the ability to scale our business more rapidly and efficiently while offering the highest level of service reliability for our growing customer base,” said Neil G. Chan, CEO of IGEN Networks Corp. “This transition, combined with our multiple carrier relationships and distribution channels across the country, positions IGEN to take a leadership role in multiple consumer automotive IoT verticals. Our platform now has the resources to ensure data integrity for a subscriber base that would potentially grow to 500,000 subscribers or more within the next three years.”

“The transition to AWS has enabled us to escalate our development schedules for IGEN’s Next Generation IoT platform,” said Cameron Wills, Director of Product Marketing. “Along with significant improvements in scalability and service reliability, we have the capability to incorporate a much broader range of applications and driver analytics for our customer base with management tools to support rapid growth across multiple end markets.”
