Identillect Technologies (TSXV:ID) has announced its deployment and scheduled deployment of Single Sign-On, which will happen on March 23 and 30.
As quoted in the press release:
The largest challenges encountered when dealing with security protocols are implementing additional steps required to bring technical safety measures up to date. The premise Identillect was founded on and continues to foster is maintaining the strongest security with the simplest implementation possible. Identillect introduced SSO for the Microsoft platform in December and has now created expansion into the O365 and Gmail platforms. This is a desired protocol for the larger organizations which Identillect has designed its platform for the simplest enterprise implementation.
The utilization of SSO creates security features, advanced pass wording, and analytics to improve security usage. Creating sophisticated and complex passwords limits the likelihood of a breach. A 2017 Verizon Data Breach Report concluded 81 percent of breaches are facilitated by exploiting compromised passwords. SSO limits the probability for password breaches, this is a significant requirement for multi-platformed advanced enterprise security.
With the progression of regulations such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), it is a requirement for security to be pervasive across all aspects of the organizations network. SSO and the innovative security protocols for all organizations make having a centralized security access point mandatory for enterprise integrity. Identillect has expanded SSO for Microsoft and Google platforms to accommodate all enterprise requirements.
Identillect’s CEO Todd Sexton stated, “As our enterprises and advanced partnerships are growing, Identillect has advanced many aspects of our network to be fully optimized for advanced enterprise procedures. You will see this progression as well as many others to follow in the coming year.”
