Fusion (NASDAQ:FSNN) announced that it has secured a three year cloud solutions contract worth US$720,000 with an multinational food chain.

The company said that its single source cloud solutions will help rapidly expanding food chain to connect, communicate and collaborate across 78 locations in the US.

As quoted in the press release:

The chain selected Fusion for its integrated and scalable single source capability, which converged Fusion’s leading edge, software-defined network solution (SD-WAN) with a full complement of cloud communications solutions that fully met the chain’s demanding requirements.  Additionally, the chain cited Fusion’s dedicated project management and implementation support and the demonstrated experience of its technology team.

Fusion was chosen to help the rapidly expanding food chain overcome the time and resource-draining challenges of a multi-vendor environment with a fully integrated network and communications solution. Fusion is converging network, voice communications and security solutions for the chain, delivering fully diverse broadband services with built-in back-up, cloud voice, SD-WAN, and Unified Threat Management for heightened security.  The chain notably cited Fusion’s next-generation SD-WAN solution for simplifying its branch networking and guaranteeing delivery of the chain’s bandwidth-intensive applications to ensure high quality, always-on connections.

“Businesses are increasingly adopting SD-WAN technology, not only because it’s cost-effective and easy to deploy and manage, but because it delivers the peace of mind enterprises demand with real time application failover that removes service degradation and downtime,” said Dan Foster, Fusion’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Fusion delivers everything a business needs to stay connected, helping to increase productivity in the process with more efficient ways to communicate and collaborate.  We’re delighted to support this growing chain’s communications requirements with the high quality, advanced single source solutions that allow the chain to focus on its core business as it rapidly expands across the U.S.,” Foster continued.
