Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQCM:DWCH) announced a collaboration with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause and Tableau for the newly launched Baker Tilly Revenue Cycle Innovation Center.
The company said that the end-to-end data solution assists healthcare organizations by providing clear visibility into actionable data for maximizing and managing revenues.
As quoted in the press release:
Encompassing all aspects of revenue cycle data analysis, from self-service data preparation to data visualization, the joint solution will be demonstrated live at the HFMA Conference in Las Vegas, from June 24-27.
“The RCIC is built to enhance healthcare revenue cycle strategies to provide a significant increase in financial performance by combining best-in-class consulting capabilities with leading technologies,” said Michael Duke, principal at Baker Tilly. “By partnering with Datawatch, Tableau and other knowledgeable specialists, we are creating a radically new approach that fully optimizes revenue cycle operations for healthcare providers.”
A first-of-its-kind innovative healthcare revenue cycle solution, the RCIC provides a unique method for accomplishing financial tasks and offers data analytical processing sets that enable executives to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems related to large healthcare organizations. Datawatch Monarch’s data preparation and data intelligence platform ensures that analysts and financial business users can easily access, meld and manipulate information from any source including 835/837 insurance remittance forms, electronic health records (EHRs), HL7 messages and more.
“Our Monarch platform automates the data collection and preparation process resulting in greater employee productivity and effectiveness and provides data intelligence into how the information is used – ensuring full data governance for HIPAA compliance,” said Ken Tacelli, chief operating officer at Datawatch. “Datawatch’s experience in working with more than 700 hospitals and healthcare providers gives us a unique insight into the revenue cycle data process. Our partnership with Baker Tilly’s RCIC and leading data specialists such as Tableau, ensures that healthcare providers can increase net revenue, reduce costs and obtain flexibility in processes and systems for sustainable results.”
