Bridgeline Digital (NASDAQ:BLIN) announced that a global engine manufacturer has launched its UK B2C eCommerce site on Bridgeline’s Unbound Digital Experience Platform.

Bridgeline Digital, a provider in cloud-based web content management, eCommerce and marketing automation solutions has an Unbound Product Suite that natively supports international experience and commerce transactions. The company said that the global engine manufacturer’s site is based on Bridgeline Unbound Product suite.

As quoted in the press release:

The experience features an international landing page that allows for country and language selection to present the customer with the local aftermarket parts store. The UK launch follows the launch of a US online parts store in 2017. The Bridgeline solution is architected to scale to support the manufacturer’s future global market expansion.

Included in the functionality of the site is a universal supply chain management middleware connector for faster site rollouts across the globe. The site presents a robust product catalog containing thousands of engine parts organized by category and engine type with a powerful search leveraging the native AWS Elastic Search integration. This makes the site easy to navigate and allows customers to search by engine serial number, navigate by engine series and model, part category, name or number. Each part in the store has a full description, image, and information showing which engines use it, allowing customers to order the correct part, every time.

The Bridgeline solution handles the online order taking for multiple regional warehouses with real-time inventory monitoring, shipment notifications, customer invoicing, reverse logistics, and more. The solution also integrates with the manufacturer’s back-office ERP system, product information management system, Salesforce CRM and Live Agent Chat in addition to Microsoft Application Insights for application monitoring.

“This website launch is particularly rewarding, considering how complex of a solution our client required,” said Ari Kahn, President and CEO of Bridgeline. “This solution allows our client to be one of the first in their industry to expand into the digital commerce space, and it paves the way for their expanding global online presence with a focus on digital strategy and enhanced customer experience.”
