Circadence®, a market leader for cybersecurity training for commercial, government, and educational customers, today announced that it will be using NVIDIA® DGX-1™ in its next-generation cybersecurity training platform, Project Ares™.
Project Ares provides cybersecurity teams the real-time opportunity to practice skills and hone tactics via an online gaming platform. It deploys realistic, mission-specific virtual environments with real-world tools, network activity and a large library of mission scenarios, available 24/7. The platform may be utilized to train individuals or teams.
Project Ares will use the NVIDIA DGX-1 — the world’s first purpose-built system for deep learning with fully integrated hardware and software that can be deployed quickly and easily. The system provides 170 teraflops of computing power, which is the computational equivalent of a massive, multi-million dollar HPC (high performance computing) facility just a decade ago. Its software stack includes major deep learning frameworks, the NVIDIA Deep Learning SDK, the NVIDIA DIGITS™ GPU training system, drivers, and CUDA® for rapidly designing deep neural networks (DNN).
“NVIDIA’s DGX-1 significantly accelerates machine learning time for advanced AI applications in cybersecurity,” said Mike Moniz, CEO of Circadence, “This revolutionary performance enables Project Ares to run today’s most innovative software and technology at supercomputer speeds to train the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.”
“Circadence’s Project Ares platform is a great use case for the NVIDIA DGX-1 because their platform relies heavily on deep learning,” said Kevin Berce, director of Public Sector at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA’s solution trains 75x faster and yields 56x performance improvements over previous deep learning solutions offered in the market.”
