South American Silver Launches Investment Dispute with Bolivia

Mining Weekly reported that South American Silver notified the Bolivan government about an investment dispute, when its subsidiaries lost mining concessions.

As quoted in the market report:

SAS said it was a protected investor under the bilateral investment treaty between the UK and Bolivia, and the actions of the Bolivian government were in violation of that treaty and of international law.
