South American Silver Corp.(TSX:SAC) announced that it has filed its 2012 first quarter financial statements. The Company also commented on the year so far and current market conditions.
As quoted in the press release:
As at March 31, 2012, the Company had working capital of $21.8 million, including cash and cash equivalents of $23.4 million. Subsequent to March 31, 2012, the Company raised gross proceeds of Cdn. $16 million through the completion of a private placement of 10 million units at a price of Cdn. $1.60 per unit.
