Writing for Seeking Alpha, Holmes Osborne noted that SilverCrest Mines (TSXV:SVL) has seen its share price rise on the back of a higher silver price.
As quoted in the publication:
SilverCrest Metals (OTC:SVCMF) is a junior miner with several sites in the Sonoran Desert in Northern Mexico. This tiny miner is run by a management team that has built and sold several juniors to seniors. With the uptick in the price of silver, shares have done well recently.
While researching First Majestic (NYSE:AG), I came across SilverCrest. What interested about the stock is that it is widely known in the value investing community that activity after a merger or acquisition can often lead to underappreciated companies. Since the new company was formed in October of last year, it has only been around for six months.
