This morning, silver rose 0.2 percent, or $0.04, to trade at $19.09 an ounce, according to Reuters.

While US economic data released on Tuesday bolstered American equities and pushed precious metals prices down, European stocks dropped 0.1 percent earlier today as the euro traded near a three-month low. That renewed silver’s appeal as a safe-haven investment and it was able to rise.
