First Majestic Silver Corp.: New Record for Silver Production
First Majestic Silver Corp. (TSX:FR)(OTCQX:FRMSF)(PINK SHEETS:FRMSF)(FRANKFURT:FMV)(WKN:A0LHKJ) announced that production in the second quarter ending June 30, 2010 increased to a new company record of 1,651,411 equivalent ounces of silver representing a 2% increase over the previous quarter and a 72% increase over the second quarter of 2009.
First Majestic Silver Corp. (TSX:FR)(OTCQX:FRMSF)(PINK SHEETS:FRMSF)(FRANKFURT:FMV)(WKN:A0LHKJ) announced that production in the second quarter ending June 30, 2010 increased to a new company record of 1,651,411 equivalent ounces of silver representing a 2% increase over the previous quarter and a 72% increase over the second quarter of 2009.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The first drill hole of the 1,000 metre, five-hole drilling program at NQN-001, is now complete. The vertical hole was drilled from the interpreted centre of the body and kimberlite was intersected continuously from 13.9 to 257 metres, where the hole was terminated in kimberlite at a pre-determined depth.
