First Majestic Profit Jumps; Cuts FY Output View

Reuters Africa reported that higher silver prices improved Q3 2011 profits for First Majestic Silver Corp (TSX:FR).

As quoted in the market news:

July-September net profit rose to $27.8 million, or 27 cents per basic share, from $10.1 million, or 11 cents a basic share, a year ago.
