Despite 2Q Silver Output Decline, Pan American Silver Sticks with 2011 Guidance

Mineweb reported that Pan American Silver (NASDAQ:PAAS) still says it will meet its 2011 production targets even though production was lower in second quarter 2011.
The market news is quoted as saying:
During the first half of 2011, Pan American produced approximately 11 million ounces of silver at a cash cost of $8.53 per ounce of silver, net of by-product credits. During the same period of 2010 Pan American mined 12,390,126 ounces of silver at a total cash cost of $5.07/oz.
