Contract Mining Switch in Peru Will Cost PanAm 500,000 Silver Oz

Mineweb reported that Pan American Silver (NASDAQ:PAAS) has decided to decrease its silver production forecast for 2011.

As quoted in the market news:

The company is reducing its full year silver production forecast from a range of 23 million to 24 million ounces to 22.5 million ounces.
