Coeur d’Alene Reports Profit, Shares Jump

Reuters Africa reported that shares of Coeur d’Alene Mines (NYSE:CDE) were up on the announcement of third quarter 2011 profits.

As quoted in the market news:

Net income for the third quarter was $31.1 million, or 35 cents per share, versus a loss of $22.6 million, or 25 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
