Precious Metals: Platinum Down, Supply Up

CNBC reported on precious metals trading noting platinum fell on a surplus.

As quoted in the market news:

The surplus in the platinum market also nearly doubled last year to its highest in two years as the euro zone debt crisis dragged on global growth, creating a more volatile price environment that curtailed some investor demand for both metals.
