Platinum Rises for the First Time in 4 Sessions on Zimbabwe Land Repossession

Bloomberg reported that platinum went up after the Zimbabwe government said it repossessed 29,948 hectares of land from Zimplats Holdings, fueling supply concerns.

As quoted in the market news:

One ounce of platinum bought as many as 1.0408 ounces of gold in London today, near the 17-month high of 1.0418 reached on Feb. 7, data compiled by Bloomberg show.
