Platinum Group Receives Section 54 Notice for WBJV Project 1

Precious MetalsPlatinum Group Metals Ltd. (TSX:PTM, NYSE MKT:PLG) announced that it has received a Notice under Section 54 of the Mine Health and Safety Act which requires the company to stop its operations in its WBJV Project 1 (Maseve) site until they have complied with the instructions in the notice.

The Company and its contractors are working diligently to satisfy the requirements of the Section 54 order so that work can resume.
