Michael Jones: Platinum Group Metals New Discovery

Mineweb reported an interview with Platinum Group Metals (TSX:PTE,NYSE:PLG) CEO, Michael Jones and Geoff Candy.

Platinum Group Metals’ CEO, Michael Jones said:

The reef itself is about four metres thick on the upper reef and five metres thick on the lower reef. The lower reef has got a grade thickness of five metres at seven grams and we’ve got multiple intercepts in that now and so called T2 reef. The metal ratios are 50% palladium, 30% platinum and 20% gold. For those geologically minded, it’s a very geological setting, it’s off the north end of the north limb and we can actually see the bushveld complex intruding into the Waterberg sediments, now for some geologists that will be controversial because they’re thought to be younger.
