Bloomberg reported Lonmin Plc (LSE:LMI) said two people were killed and six injured in three incidents at its Western Platinum operations.

As quoted in the market news:

The incidents follow an illegal work stoppage and protest March on Aug. 10 by about 3,000 rock-drill operators, the London-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. Four people trying to report for duty on Aug. 10 were injured, two of whome were hospitalised after being shot. Another two were admitted on Aug. 11 also because of gunshot wounds.
