Impala Platinum Rustenburg Mine Shaft Still Shut After Accident

Bloomberg reported Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. (JSE:IMP) said a shaft at its Rustenburg operation remained closed after two workers were killed.

As quoted in the market news:

Other shafts at Rustenburg had resumed operations, Alice Lourens, a company spokesman, said by phone today. She was unable to comment on when the No. 7 shaft would resume operations or how much production had been lost.
