Eastern Platinum Limited: Managing Director of Barplats Resigns

Eastern Platinum Limited (TSX:ELR,AIM:ELR,JSE:EPS), reported it has accepted the resignation of Wayne Robinson as Managing Director of Barplats Mines.

As quoted in the press release,

Wayne has been managing the Eastplats operations in South Africa since 2006 and with the support of senior and executive management of the company, has contributed to the successful operational turnaround of the Crocodile River Mine and an improved safety record. Wayne has indicated that he will be pursuing new business interests. The Company acknowledges his efforts over the last 5 years and wishes him good fortune in his future endeavours. The Company has commissioned a search for a replacement for the group’s operations in South Africa.
