    China Bank Grants $650M Loan for Wesizwe’s Platinum Mine Project

    Mining Weekly reported that China Development Bank (CDB) granted JSE-listed Wesizwe Platinum a $650M loan for the development of its Bakubung platinum mine project, which is located in the North West province of South Africa.

    Mining Weekly reported that China Development Bank (CDB) granted JSE-listed Wesizwe Platinum a $650M loan for the development of its Bakubung platinum mine project, which is located in the North West province of South Africa.

    As quoted in the market news:

    Part of the $650-million loan would be used to refund two separate $100-million short-term loans, which CDB and Wesizwe signed last month.

    The on-schedule Bakubung project, on the western limb of the Bushveld Complex, near Rustenburg, was on budget.
