As Jobless Claims Fall So Does Platinum

SMH reported platinum, and other precious metals, fell on an unexpected drop in applications for unemployment assistance in the U.S.

As quoted in the market news:

Platinum futures for January delivery fell 0.5 per cent to $US1,431.20 an ounce.
