Bloomberg reported that despite a 10-week strike at its South African operations, Anglo American Platinum Ltd. (OTCMKTS:AGPPY) still has enough platinum to supply its customers.
Bloomberg reported that despite a 10-week strike at its South African operations, Anglo American Platinum Ltd. (OTCMKTS:AGPPY) still has enough platinum to supply its customers.
Specifically, the company has 215,000 ounces of the metal still stockpiled, according to CEO Chris Griffith.
As quoted in the market news:
‘We certainly have the ability to continue for a while longer and a good while longer,’ Griffith said. ‘Even if we could not continue to supply our customers from production, we would do it through other methods, and if that means buying in volume we would do so.’
