Precious Metals Rise on Fears of Another US Recession

CNBC reports precious metals are rising on fears about what’s next for the slowing global economy.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Silver for September delivery rose 89.3 cents to end at $43.325 an ounce. October platinum increased $30.80 to $1,905.70 an ounce and September palladium rose $16.30 to $765.10 an ounce. September copper fell 2.8 cents to $3.9555 a pound.
