In its monthly research report, ABN Amro and VM Group noted that strong prices and demand from emerging nations will encourage supply growth. These emerging nations will continue to drive demand for the time being and will underpin prices. The downside risk is if inflation becomes overheated in these regions or if there is a significant slowdown in advanced nations that will hurt the export-driven growth developing regions have enjoyed.
