North American Palladium Expects Strike Resolution

CBCNews reported despite a strike vote, North American Palladium (TSX:PDL,NYSE:PAL) says it expects to reach a contract settlement with workers at its Thunder Bay mine.

As quoted in the market news:

Members of the Steelworkers Union at Lac Des Iles have voted 94 per cent in favour of a strike mandate.

 Herb Daniher, a spokesperson for United Steelworkers local 9422, said there are significant issues regarding health and safety, as well as scheduling and monetary issues.
