Reuters Africa reports that iShares is tapping into precious metals with the launch of four products that could rival the dominance in London of ETF Securities.
The market news is quoted as saying,
iShares, which is owned by top money manager Blackrock and boasts over half a trillion dollars in assets under management, will list its gold, silver, platinum and palladium products on the London Stock Exchange and use the London fixings as the benchmark pricing mechanism, said Joe Linhares, head of EMEA iShares.
