Tarsis Resources Finalizes Almaden Property Acquisition and Commences Exploration at BP Property
Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TCC) finalized the Almaden Property Acquisition agreement to acquire seven projects from Almaden Minerals Ltd. (TSX:AMM) in Nevada and Mexico. The Company also commenced exploration on its newly acquired BP property in Nevada.
Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TCC) finalized the Almaden Property Acquisition agreement to acquire seven projects from Almaden Minerals Ltd. (TSX:AMM) in Nevada and Mexico. The Company also commenced exploration on its newly acquired BP property in Nevada.
As quoted in the press release:
The Company has signed a final agreement for the acquisition of seven projects from Almaden in Nevada and Mexico.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Tarsis will own a 100% interest in the following gold projects:
- Mexico: Yago, Gallo de Oro, Mezquites, San Pedro and Llano Grande
- Nevada: BP, BJS
Work on the property during 2013 will include expanded grid-controlled soil sampling, prospecting and detailed mapping. Tarsis’ geological team were on the ground and started carrying out this work in May.
Tarsis Resources Ltd. President and CEO, Marc Blythe, said:
This acquisition will help to increase Tarsis’ exposure in Mexico and Nevada, both of which are considered favourable mining jurisdictions. We look forward to providing detailed information on each of these projects as exploration advances.
