Shoreham Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SMH) reports that a diamond drilling program has began on the Mariwa River gold target at the Sardine Hill Property in Guyana, South America.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The Sardine Hill Property, which totals 10,427 acres, is located approximately 90 kilometres from Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, and 70 kilometres from Cheddi Jagan International Airport. It is accessible by 4-wheel drive trails from two landings on the Cuyuni River. The proximity of Sardine Hill to the infrastructure of the nearby town of Bartica and the navigable waters of the Essequibo and Cuyuni Rivers allows for cost effective evaluation and development work.
