Nexus Gold Corp. (TSXV:NXS) reported that the geophysical survey by Vital GeoSURVEY™ Ltd. identified 38 points of interest occurring in eight clusters over approximately a two square mile area within the Walker Ridge Gold Project in Nevada. Results from the survey confirmed existing geophysical, geochemical and geo-chronological data. Nexus Gold intends to drill test the largest cluster in January 2015.

Unique technology used by Vital GeoSURVEY™ permitted the in-situ detection and identification of the chemical constituents within host rock matrixes, using values derived from known atomic and molecular components of a targeted material.

As quoted in the press release:

Seven of the clusters are coincidental to anomalous mercury and antimony geochemical results as well as CSAMT and gravity geophysical anomalies previously identified on the property. The largest of the clusters is a new sizable target area situated along the eastern flank of the geochemical and geophysical anomalies mentioned above.

Nexus Gold Corp. President and CEO, Peter Berdusco, said:

The Vital survey indicates a number of clusters and points of interest have been identified at or near our drill target locations. However, what we find most compelling is how the results of this survey matched so well with our existing geophysical, geochemical and geo-chronological data.
