Shares in Detour Gold (TSX:DGC) rose today after the company reported that repairs to its mill have been completed. The processing facility has been shut down since December 17.
As reported in the press release:
[The company] reports that the repairs to the pre-leach thickener system, including replacement of the bottom section of the torque cage were successfully completed and re-commissioning of this system has commenced. The processing plant is expected to resume operations today and is targeted to operate at a rate of 50,000 tonnes per day within a week of this restart.
