Highbank Resources (TSXV:HBK) is waiting to receive its mining permit for its to Swamp Point aggregate project. Swamp Point is located approximately 160 kilometres north of the port of Prince Rupert and 50 kilometres south from the port of Stewart. The company has a market capitalization of $8.4 million.
In mid-February, Alpha Exploration (TSXV:AEX) commenced a 2,000 metre drilling campaign on the Middle Lake property, owned 80% by Alpha and 20% by Acme Resources Inc. (TSX-V: ARI) as a carried interest. The property is located in the west part of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin along the east boundary of the former Cluff Lake mine lease of Areva Canada. The company reports that substantial upgrading of uranium through sorting could have significant positive impacts on future mining and milling operations. This year KIV will focus on de-risking the project by evaluating potential extraction and processing options for the Lac 50 uranium deposit. The company has a market capitalization of $47.75 million.
 Klondex Mines Ltd. (TSX:KDX,OTCQX:KLNDF)Klondex Mines Ltd. (TSX:KDX,OTCQX:KLNDF) expects a preliminary economic assessment to be completed in the first quarter of 2014. The PEA on the Fire Creek underground gold project will follow quickly on the updated Resource Estimate announced September 16, 2013. The PEA will outline if the deposit is profitable and as shipments for processing of ore to Newmont Mining Corporation have already started.
 Coronet Metals Inc. (TSXV:CRF)Coronet Metals Inc. (TSXV:CRF) is in the process of producing a NI-43-101 resource estimate on its White Caps Gold Project located near the town of Manhattan in northern Nye County, Nevada, 13 miles south of Kinross and Barrick’s Round Mountain Gold Mine. The NI 43-101 Report work commenced in March 2013 and is expected to be completed in the 3rd quarter 2013. Coronet Metals has a market capitalization of about $7 million.
