Rwanda Seeking Bids for Tin Deposit

Mining Weekly reported Rwanda is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) for the Musha–Ntunga tin deposit.

As quoted in the market news:

Belgian companies started mining, which was mainly done in openpits, at Musha–Ntunga in the 1940s and progressively handed over to artisanal mining subcontractors.

The mine has been the site of exploitation of cassiterite principally, but to a lesser extent niobotantalite (also called coltan) and wolframite.
