Kitco reported a recent discovery of economically viable tungsten and tin is opening up Quebec, Canada to mining.

As quoted in the market news:

Lulin referred to all of northern Quebec above the 49th parallel, which is the focus of the Quebec government’s $80 billion Plan Nord project announced last May. Mining firms and the Quebec government will invest $80 billion in the project over 25 years to mine these commodities.

But Lulin and Azimut have seen firsthand the potential treasures that Nunavik holds as the company was recently awarded the Quebec Prospector of the Year Award at the Quebec Exploration Convention for discovering tin and tungsten in the near Arctic-like area.
