The company’s moly production at the Los Pelambres operation in Chile’s Coquimbo Region climbed 30.1% from 7,300 tonnes in the first nine months of 2011 to 9,500 tonnes for the same period of this year, reflecting “the particularly high molybdenum grades in the current year,” the company said. Production for the third quarter of this year was reported at 3,000 tonnes.
