The gold market may be witnessing an increasingly intense battle aound the $1,000 an ounce level, but gold investors are a sorry lot. At the start of December, most stocks were in the red. The writing is on the wall. Pay heed.
They just can’t see the wood for the trees. Gold investors have been fighting a losing battle, given that most gold miners, and some big ones at that, have underperformed 2009’s 27 per cent rise in gold prices
