Sierra Leone Diamond Exports Rise 25% in June From May, Central Bank Says

Bloomberg reports shipments of diamonds from Sierra Leone climbed 25 percent to 41,880 carats in June.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Total diamond shipments were 204,890 carats for the six months through June, Joseph Pessima, a senior economist at the central bank, said by phone.
