Petra Diamonds Production, Prices Rise

Mining Weekly reported Petra Diamonds'(LSE:PDL) more than doubled quarterly production at its Finsch mine in South Africa as the price of rough diamonds also rose.

As quoted in the market news:

Petra Diamonds, which operates mainly in South Africa, said demand from the US and Asian markets remained steady even as prices climbed up after the rough diamond market stabilised in December.
