NWT Diamond Center Opens at Long Last

Gem InvestingCBC News reported that after almost three years, the Yellowknife-based NWT Diamond Center will open this afternoon. It was originally supposed to open in January 2012 after being announced in August 2011.
CBC News reported that after almost three years, the Yellowknife-based NWT Diamond Center will open this afternoon. It was originally supposed to open in January 2012 after being announced in August 2011.
As quoted in the market news:
It’s the brainchild of Crossworks Manufacturing Ltd., the only diamond-polishing company operating in the Northwest Territories.
In August 2011, the Government of the Northwest Territories and Crossworks announced plans to build the diamond centre, Yellowknife’s newest tourist attraction. At the time, it expected to pay about $300,000 for construction.
