Lonrho Mining Limited (ASX:LOM) announced it has started drilling at its 61 priority kimberlite targets at the Lulo diamond concession in Angola.

Lonrho Mining Limited (ASX:LOM) announced it has started drilling at its 61 priority kimberlite targets at the Lulo diamond concession in Angola.

As quoted in the press release:

The drilling program has started at the Se12 kimberlite target, which is a large (~36 hectare) magnetic feature located about 5km east of Lonrho’s Dense Media Separation (DMS) diamond plant.

The specialist BAUER rig has drilled the first hole (RC-01) at Se12 to a depth of 50 metres, and encountered weathered kimberlite. Drilling of RC-02 at Se12 has commenced.
